This independent practice project uses invented materials for Cedar Desk Services to examine consistency across instructor guidance, student materials, slides, practice activities and assessments.
Teach what the assessment asks
A review question requires four elements of a help request. The student guide omits “what the employee has already tried.” I expanded the proposed correction to cover the checklist and practice instructions, with explicit instructor guidance until revision. An AI-assisted revision is drafted; my final review remains pending.
Verify the procedure first
The guides direct routine requests to the team lead through a Help Desk form; the answer key says to email the operations manager. I required verification against current policy or another approved source before changing the key. Because this exercise supplies no separate approved source, the correction remains conditional.
Before closure, I would recheck every affected guide, question, key, activity, slide and job aid for alignment.
AI assisted with fictional sources, draft revisions and formatting. I evaluated proposed corrections and defined verification requirements. This sample does not claim organizational approval or measured learner improvement.
Experience behind the work
I’m an Army veteran with experience in military medical instruction, behavioral health and team leadership. My background includes learner remediation, instructor onboarding, training readiness and curriculum improvement. I hold an MBA in Data Analytics.
From review to practical instructor support
During an annual workplace curriculum review, I checked AI findings against cited materials and submitted proposed corrections in a spreadsheet to the course director. Some corrections were implemented by providing instructors with correct review-question and case-study information. Formal curriculum changes had to wait for the full implementation cycle, which occurred every two years.
